What is "Classical Yoga"?

            Classical Yoga is a moving meditation. We follow the traditional path of Hatha Yoga, focusing on the harmony between the physical body (asana), the breath (pranayama), and the mind.


 The way I teach is Gentle with the awareness of the uniqueness of each body, offering:


  • Accessible Movement: No pretzel shapes here. We move in ways that honor your joints and mobility.
  • Nervous System Support: We prioritise the "Rest and Digest" state to lower cortisol and anxiety.
  • Mindful Pacing: We hold poses long enough to feel them, but never so long that they cause strain.

How the Online Experience Works

  • The Platform: "We meet via Zoom. You'll receive a private link after online booking of the class, before class starts."
  • The Setup: "All you need is a yoga mat (or a rug) and a quiet corner. Props like pillows, blankets, and blocks are encouraged but optional."
  • The Connection: "I keep classes small so I can offer verbal cues and adjustments to ensure you're moving safely."

  • Do I need to be flexible? "Not at all! Yoga is the tool you use to become more mobile; it's not a prerequisite."
  • Can I join if I have an injury? "Gentle yoga is often very therapeutic, but please consult your doctor first and let me know at the start of class so I can offer modifications."
  • Is my camera required to be on? "While I love seeing your practice to offer guidance, your comfort is my priority. You are welcome to keep your camera off."
